The fix is in. This is so obscene. America is swirling down the toilet.A fair trial is an impossibility. Which is the point.A nurse, who was a potential juror, has been dismissed from the courtroom after she said she can’t be fair and unbiased against Donald Trump. And New York Times reporter Susanne Craig describes a scene from inside Trump‘s jury selection where Judge Merchan allows a potential juror to remain even after Trump‘s lawyers highlighted a social media video she posted of people celebrating the 2020 election.

Since Monday, dozens of jurors filed into the Manhattan courtroom where President Trump has been standing trial in the case.Responding to the jury selection process, President Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday morning: “I thought STRIKES were supposed to be ‘unlimited’ when we were picking our jury? I was then told we only had 10, not nearly enough when we were purposely given the 2nd Worst Venue in the Country. Don’t worry, we have the First Worst also, as the Witch Hunt continues!”The former president was likely referring to the voter base in Manhattan. During the 2020 election, voters in the city overwhelmingly cast ballots in favor of President Joe Biden, with only about 12 percent voting for President Trump. Some legal analysts have said that it will be difficult for the former president to get a fair trial in New York City due to the Democrat-leaning jury pool.

Trump juror sworn in by Judge Merchon comes clean and admits she will **NOT** be fair and impartial.

The judge overseeing former US President Donald Trump's criminal trial dismissed a second juror after determining he did not reveal prior brushes with the law.

One of the jurors was caught lying and may be removed from the trial.  The juror, who said he found Trump "fascinating and mysterious,” and said he had no biased, may have lied about his criminal past.   A man with the same name was arrested in the 90’s for destroying conservative political posters.  The DA’s office believes this is the same man.  If accurate, it would mean he lied about his political biased and is such a strong liberal that he’s defaced conservative posters.   I’m glad he was caught, and hopefully no one else who sits on the jury is hiding a political bias.

One dismissed Trump juror, who just became a U.S. citizen recently, has targeted Trump for his skin color, she says her biggest takeaway was the color of his skin.  Remarkable.  "You know, he looked less orange, definitely like more yellowish. Like yellow." "He looks bored. He wants this to be finished and go do his stuff."

This prospective Trump juror was dismissed because of scheduling conflicts but told the court she could remain unbiased. Here she admits she’s “not a fan” of the President. If Trump gets a fair trial in New York it will require a not insignificant miracle.

Another juror who was seated on the jury for former President Donald Trump in the Manhattan ‘Hush-Money’ Trial earlier this week was excused on Thursday, saying she had concerns about her ability to be fair and impartial and had concerns about her identity being made public.New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan called attorneys up to confer shortly after taking the bench on Thursday, April 18, saying that the woman also known as “Juror 2” had slept on the decision overnight and informed the court she wished to be dismissed. She was sworn in earlier in the week with six others, including one alternate, on the second day of the trial. She was brought into the room and said after thinking about it, she has friends, colleagues, and family that “push things” and outside influences that would likely affect her impartiality. She added that she had been identified as a juror from news reports. The juror, an oncology nurse, said her family and friends had questioned her about whether or not she was a juror based on media reports. The judge in turn ordered journalists to refrain from publishing information about the juror’s current and prior jobs.Justice Merchan said, “as evidenced by what’s happened already, it’s become a problem,” according to the AP. The answers also will be redacted from court transcripts.Prosecutors additionally asked for the employer question to be removed from the questionnaire asked to jurors, while the judge disagreed with the argument and said it was necessary information.Twelve jurors must be sworn in, with the judge saying he anticipated opening statements to begin possibly next week. Also in court on Thursday, prosecutors asked for the former president to be held in contempt for what they said were social media posts that violated a gag order that bars him from attacking witnesses, according to the Associated Press. Those posts, prosecutors argued, included an article referring to witness and former Trump attorney Michael Cohen as a serial perjurer and another by a Fox News personality that liberals were disguising their true motives to be seated on the jury.

The So-Called Unbiased Opinion of New Yorkers...

He seems “selfish and self-serving,” said one woman. The way he carries himself in public “leaves something to be desired,” said another. His “negative rhetoric and bias,” said another man, is what is “most harmful.”Over the past week, Donald Trump has been forced to sit inside a frigid New York courtroom and listen to a parade of potential jurors in his criminal hush money trial share their unvarnished assessments of him. It’s been a dramatic departure for the former president and presumptive 2024 GOP nominee, who is accustomed to spending his days in a cocoon of cheering crowds and constant adulation. Now a criminal defendant, Trump will instead spend the next several weeks subjected to strict rules that strip him of control over everything from what he is permitted to say to the temperature of the room.“He’s the object of derision. It’s his nightmare. He can’t control the script. He can’t control the cinematography. He can’t control what’s being said about him. And the outcome could go in a direction he really doesn’t want,” said Tim O’Brien, a Trump biographer and critic.

While Trump is occasionally confronted by protesters, generally he lives a life sheltered from criticism. After leaving the White House, Trump moved to his Mar-a-Lago waterfront club in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is surrounded by doting paid staff and dues-paying members who have shelled out tens of thousands of dollars to be near him.
